Jetting Weber 40 DCOE and 38 DGES.

Hi,

I want to replace my double Zenith 35/40 on my Commodore GS -70. I want to keep the motor stock/unmodified. Weber 32/36 DGEV seems like a good choice for reliable, economic and soome xtra power. I know many people use Weber 45 DCOE even on stock/unmodified engines but I guess you loose alot of low/mid range torque? In my eyes the best carb would problably be triple Weber 40 DCOE on a stock/unmodified engine but for some reason I have very rarely seen Commodores with the 40 DCOE. Does anyone know the correct jetting/jets for triple Weber 40 DCOE on a stock/unmodified 2.5 liter CIH 6 engine?

Also I have seen replacement kits for BMW and MB 6-cylinder engines using Weber 38 DGES, anyone tested that, what jettting/jets should I use?

Thanks and best regards

Fredrik
